Ok, there is a blue wire thats part of the TPS. You will need to tap the + lead on your Multimeter to it. Then connect the black lead to ground (- of bat term works great.) with the Key in the run position, but the motor not running open the throttle it will give you a read of like 4.1 or 4.2. Slowy grind the TB stop until it reads 4.6v @WOT. If you go past 4.69999v youll set a code. good luck, J

analyzer software. both can be had for about $350 or so. see www.obd2.com or www.autotap.com to check out therir stuff. i have the EASE software for two reasons, one, i have head alot of people complain that the ATAP doesn't always give good readings or work right at all, and two, EASE has a hand in designing GM's software.

You will have to get some epoxy to fix it or get a new TB. If the tps voltage reaches 4.7V the ecm will scence something is wrong and set a code and possible go in to limp mode.

I had a buddy of mine hook his Diablo Sport programmer to my truck (we couldn't tune it but it still gives real-time readings) and it said that my TPS was at 100%. Would that mean that I wouldn't benefit from this mod?

Grind a little at a time and check the voltage reading often. Use a Digital VOM. Stick a tiny sewing needle into the blue wire to get your reading. When you get close to 4.64 VDC STOP grinding. Make your final adjustment by bending the cam tab a little. Use a vise grip to bend the tab and when I say bend it a little I mean a LITTLE till you get it within a couple of hundreths of 4.64 VDC. You can actually get it to exactly 4.64 VDC if your good. You should also set the closed throttle value to 0.60 VDC with the torx screw.
