Default Taking bets

Borrowed a friends G-Tech today (yes I know it isn't like going to the track, but it's all I have for now). Anyone wanna enter a guess on the ole' Z-71. In addition to mods in signature, there will be a substantial +driver mod (330 lbs. worth)

On a play run today, I went 17.38 @ 70.x . I had to let off early because of traffic and was actually on the brakes pretty good when it flashed the 1/4 time.

My own prediction is 16.2 since I really have no idea what it is supposed to run.

dont forget extended cab. 16.14 my guess

i have played around with my gtech alot, you need a very flat road. i laid out a 1/4 mile stretch of road that i goto every time, then i make a run in each direction starting the return run where i ended the 1st run. if you average the 2 runs i think it is prety acurate. if you know the road is flat i dont think you need to do this. and forget about the mph, the gtech is usualy off there.

My guess is the mid-high 15's... you have quite a bit of mods and can launch realllly good w/ the 4 wheel drive!

I thought 16.2 was conservative. Guess not. I never found a perfect stretch of road (never noticed all those little hills when I raced there as a kid), but I did get 4 passes in. They average to ~16.5 @ 86 MPH. I think I left several tenths on the table by not stalling it up (left from an idle) and launching in 2WD (hey my baby only has 2700 miles, can't beat on her too hard yet ).

I never get on it from a stop, I usually roll into it off the line and guess I had forgotten what a turd she is from a stand still. It seems to take forever to get from 1000 to 3000 RPMS from the line. Guess I will go ahead and order the HPP3 and put the driver and truck both on a wieght reduction program. 100 Lbs still equals 1/10th like in the old days of the eighties, Right?
