I'm really considering 4.10 gear s myself to get rid of that damned dead spot under 3500rpm. Should help the 60 foot times a ton if I can hook!

At 75mph, rpms are around 2200-2300.
Actually tested it out today and @ 75mph, the rpms are right at 2400-2500. At 85mph, not much change, 2600-2700rpms.

Big J,
Thanks! That's all I needed to hear. Is that with corrections via HPP3, Diablo, etc?

I vote for a 4.10:1 also, it will be a huge difference between the 3.42:1. I am going from a 3.55:1 to a 4.10:1 in my other truck as soon as I can find a reputable shop near my pad in Houston. I contemplated the 3.73:1 but the gain would be minimal and price the same...

Hit Man, what area of Houston? I know of a few places that do damn good work for a decent price. Let me know the area, and I'll see what I can do.
