Most transmissions burn up between the gears. A that is why you want it to "slam" into gear. A quick shift eliminates that problem.

I hear ur truck spin easily into 2nd with only an intake, shift kit, and a catback exhaust with a 4l60e? maybe traction bars should be next for YOU?
