Of course you can, but I don't understand what you will gain from it.

i too smooth the intake and add some aftermarket fuel rails just too clean up the look under the hood. the intake on my truck now has a vaccum fuel pressure regulator. i have another intake that i would like too do all the work on and then bolt all the pieces on at the same time but this intake has a returnless fuel system. just wondering if i will run into any problems. i will add an afermarket fuel pressure regulator.

Alot of work to have the same thing in the end. If your going to switch to aftermarket rails and regulator why not switch to an ls6 or fast intake which is already smooth.

Even smoothed and painted the truck intake still looks like a turd. Sure it looks better but compared to some of the aftermarket intakes If I were going for a clean look I would just swap it.
