Default Wondering If the power is right?

Ok so I just got my truck going as a whole. First the rundown. Bought a 99 5.3 in a box for $150.00 apart that had 75k on it that had a oil pump problem. My truck is a 04 silverado originally with a 4.8. So i rebuilt the 5.3 and put it in the truck. P series bearings, reman crank, stock rods and pistons, stock heads that have been cut .020, aftermarket valve springs, 4.8 intake off the stock motor, pace setter long tubes, off road y pipe, factory 5 speed, factory 3.73 rear end with stock tire size, cam size is 218/228 with 608/618 lift. Truck runs fine does fine just seemed low on the power number to me. On a dynojet it made 312Hp and 325trq at the wheel. Just wondering if that is normal or if that seems low on a low compression 5.3. Also keep in mind havent got arond to putting an electric fan on it yet however im not sure how much that would net me.

dunno how you consider that a low compression 5.3?
stock heades milled .020 would bump up the compression a lil.

You wondering if the peak power is off or overall power is off?

guessing peak. I was thinking it would make about 20-30 more than that but maybe it will losein up some too.

could be the temperature, humidity, tune, gas, dyno calibration..
Dyno should used to look at the curve and compare changes on, too many people worry about peak numbers. That really doesnt mean much if you think about it.

Mine made 440hp/540tq at the wheels. but it also made 475tq at 2600rpms and peaked at 4000. The peak sounds good but it made a bunch of TQ down low also .Dynoed in 2nd gear with the TC locked.

2WD or 4WD? I turned over 310 and 301 on a Mustang dyno @ 5400 before I ran out of fuel pressure with my 5.3.

4wd. 216/220 .525/.532 114, Long tubes, E-fans, 3.73 gears, 9.9:1 CR with milled 243 heads in 3rd with a locked converter.

I think those numbers are OK for what you have.
