Default Swapping rearends--what would be a good deal?

A buddy of mine is looking to get rid of his 4.3 '03 Silvy, and asked me if I wanted to get his G80 3.73 rear end out of it b/f he traded it.

The truck has only towed a bike trailer, and looks to have been well taken care of. I think it's failry low mileage too.

He said that we could trade rearends and "a little cash" but I was wondering what would be a reasonable offer? $100? $200? I really can't justify giving him a whole lotta money when I'm just going to have to replace the G80 in time anyway.

Hmmm...decisions, decisions.

I would give him 150 or so, I wouldn't like the 1 legged burnouts.
