SW headers back from the Ceramic coater, Pics :) (56k beware)

They can run the bend program on 1 7/8" tubing, but the primaries will have to be fit on the truck due to the increased bend radius on larger tubing. If you give them a face of flange to center of primary bend dimension with a drawing or something they might weld them up for you. Some 1 7/8" F-body headers can come close to fitting the trucks also.

Yeah but from the pictures I have seen the fbody stuff will interfere with my front dshaft. So they would send me some flanges and pre-bent primaries and I would just have to rotate them to fit and weld the collectors on? If so that wouldnt be too big of a deal all the hard part would be done just have to get another bottle for argon to weld the stainless and a good reason to get a gun lead for the mig

You will have to trim the primaries for length on the flange and collector side, nothing too tough. Make sure you check the picture of the standard 1 3/4" SW headers for reference on where to primaries go then weld away.

I just got ahold of them on the phone and they said they wouldnt bend up some 1 7/8" primaries. Someone could make a killing making these thins for all us stroker/high CFM guys. I also called Kooks and they said that they are going to make headers for us this winter but they werent sure if they would do 1 7/8 or not. I put in my .02 so maybe Kooks will come through for us.
