Default Supercharging the Z06

I recently purchased a 2005 Z06 engine out of a brand new vette. Some doctor in Dallas decided he needed more than an LS6 for his car. Fortunately, I was in the right place at the right time. You gotta love rich doctors. I intend to transplant this engine into my 97 Chevy SWB truck. I am also going to Procharge the truck. I was curious if anyone has thrown that blower on an LS6. What kind of numbers could I expect? I am shooting for a high 11 sec truck pushin around 600 hp. Holla back if you have any thoughts or experience with this blower setup or transplant.

From what I've been researching, 550 is pretty much par with an intercooled ATI Procharger. I think the biggest problem I'm gonna have (and there are so many with this transplant I assure you) is building a tranny that can handle the engine. By the way, what is the compression on the LS6? 10.6 to 1?

Youd need a good bit of boost and as GMCSki said, compression is too high. Youd need at least some good lower compression pistons to start.

Well the truth of it is. I wanna drive this truck charged for a while before I ever break into it. I'm dumping a helluva lotta money into as it is to get it to that point. I think breaking into the engine would prolly break me...lol. I can't see breaking into it and no strokin it, it's rare I do anything half assed.

just get the magnacharger kit
and you'll be happy with it more than the ATI ****
In a heavy truck you need low boost
Can save a few bucks and not have to run a big stall convertor
Buy the radix you'll be happier with it

Is that a typo or am I missing something? I thought the 05 Vettes (C6) had the LS2 6.0L. And I also thought the Z06 C6 Vette wasn't available yet, just the "regular" Vettes? Am I wrong?
