I'm in the same boat, radix is about to go on and I need the trans go hold up. Here are some links to the Transgo, servos, accumulator pistons, etc

I'm putting in a transgo for sure, and most likely a vette servo. Since I can put in the servos without dropping the pan, I will see how firm the shift kit is and then decide if it needs servos. I'm not sure about the piston kits and all that yet, might see what condition my current setup is and then swap them out if needed. I take it pretty easy on the trans most of the time so I'm not overly worried. My trans only has 15k on it.

You should be ok for a while with those mods. Just make sure to service your trans on regular basis. The trans will last as long as you don't abuse it............

after much research I've read that most people say that transgo + both billets = very hard shift. and with the street tires I'm going to use with the Radix, I can't afford the 1-2 shift to make me lose ALL traction. Plus I don't want my neck hurting after driving 60 miles a day.

So what I've decided to do is get the transgo and a vette servo, which has something like 30% less contact area than the billet servo, and I'll either put 0 or 1 washer in the accumulator for a quick part throttle shift and a firm but not harsh 1-2 shift (hopefully). I think alot of people think "harder the better - make 'em scratch or spin on 1-2 and my tranny will last forver" but the truth is the hard parts inside can't take it.

I'll be getting this stuff installed in a week or so and give a report on the firmness and everything. I dont plan on making WOT shifts into 4th very often so I dont really think a overdirve servo is needed - besides, my truck starts to vibrate at 115 anyways and I think I'll be at the end of 3rd in the 1/4 mile so I wont have to put that power through 3-4. I could be wrong but I'd like to save that $$ right now, maybe upgrade later.
