Default Supercharger Info?

Okay I am looking to put an ATI procharger on my truck I just need to know what kind of tuning is required and if I need to step up to some 42# injectors, and if there is any problem with the ATI on a 5.3 like belt slip when you change pullies, or anything else, like will I have to beef up my 4l60 or should I swap to a 4l65?? Thanks.

Superchargers and 4L60s don't usually mix too well. You'll be fine with what you have for a while, just depends how you drive it. If you are always in boostville, well.......?

I'd say you should get EFI live, EDIT, and a wideband if you are going to go above 8psi.

If just 8psi, you could probably get away with just EFIlive to monitor KR and 02 voltages.

I went with a Reichard Racing pulley and a Goodyear Gatorback belt when I stepped up to 11psi. Belt slip isn't much of an issue.

My stock trans with just a shift kit lasted until my first drive with the 11psi pulley.

you will need to beef up the tranny. most definetly servos, shift kit and new clutch packs. it wont last long.

It would be best to order the kit with no FMU then go with 42# injectors and a custom program or Edit. These kits have been pretty good for belt slippage. Haven't seen this come up to much (mainly with the C5s). Upgrading the servos, shift kit and new clutch packs is a very good idea.
