supercharger/ cold air intake??

im gettin a new truck, , single cab with a 5.3 was wonderin wich is the best cold air for our trucks right now and cost, i had a k&n fipk on my last truck and they showed it with 7 hp at the wheels , i heard trueflow and violent claim 11 or more, and what about upd, this is a new brand to me? also i cant afford a sc right now, but was wonderin the total cost and wich is best, i hear vortec or powerdyne is the cheapeswt and give good results for the money. thanks, Denny.

UPD is my pic. Volant may have to be next on the CAI's. Now for superchargers, You will see around here that the Magnacharger Radix is the blower of choice. Whipple is still good though. As for Vortech and Powerdyne, you get what you pay for. They won't make near the power that roots style blowers will make.

I'd pick a Volant only because of how much better engineered it is.
I've had 3 different UPD's and they just didnt impress me all that much as far as construction, the performance was there however.
