Default Supercharged 5.3L

Hey guys, im plannin on getting a 2002 rcsb stepside silverado here pretty soon and supercharge it, ive pretty much made up my mind, im gonna do the d1sc with 3 core from ati, im gonna put in new injectors, maf new filter and put in some new parts to the tranny, thats all the performance stuff. the guy i have been talking to about installing it says the closest place he could find to get it tuned is in tulsa oklahoma, and i live in austin texas, thats like a 10 hour drive.

basically i was wonderin what yall think about the setup, any suggestions, or added things i should do, or concerns, and if anyone knows a place to get this bad boy tuned

You don't have to drive 10 north to get it tuned. You can just drive one hr south to San Antonio and get it tuned by Allen.

I'd leave the stock MAF in there too.

Also, I'm sure MTI, etc. in Houston and 21CMC in Dallas, among others can tune LS1 engines.

Allen can tune your truck with great results. There are plenty of Dyno's in the area that you could use to get a solid dyno tune. Just call Allen and he will get ya fixed up. He is a good guy
