I'm in Greensboro. There are only a handful of us Tarheelians on the board, but we try to hold our own! LOL! My board name gives everybody the impression that I'm a UNC fan but I'm actually a Wolfpack fan. My last truck was a ZR2 and TarheelZ is my name from ZR2.com. Later!

whatever you do, dont put the same mods on your new truck that you put on your old one. not trying to make you sound dumb, but 4 out of your 7 mods probably didnt effect the performance of your truck much at all. the throttle body spacer, MAF, and MSD plug wires are on the DO NOT WORK section of nightrunner's sticky: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=395748
shorty headers also provide little to no HP or torque gains; long tubes are the only way to go with these trucks.

like i said, dont take this like im trying to cut you down or anything... im just trying to bring the information to you so you can choose your mods for your new ride to give you the best results possible and make the most of your hard-earned money.

Just skimmed and didnt read all the post, nut i know for a fact that the 99-07classic pacesetter lt headers fit on the new 07-08 chevy's gmc. I can think of at least 5 trucks with there headers.

Hey, no problem here. I dont know if it was this thread or not by I freely admit that my last mods were worthless, which is why I am asking for so much help this time around.

And as far as help goes, I am going to go with longtubes, OFY and Magnaflow cats. Can anyone tell me what the pipe size is of the OFY so I can order the proper cats for fabrication? Magnaflow makes a variety of sizes and I want to make sure I get the right ones. As well, does anyone have a suggestion of whether to go with the universal fit ones, or have you had success with any one in particular? Thanks again for all the help.

Just FYI, I'd use your stock cats instead of buying Magnaflow cats. Your OEM cats flow as good if not better that the Magnaflows. Just saves you some money.

Sweet, thanks for the help with all of my questions. Im just about to start the wrenching, I havent said it yet, but my truck has been in the shop. 1 Week after I bought it one of my subordinates at work rear ended me, ******* around with his cell phone and ran right into the *** end..., he can pretty much kiss his raise and reveiw goodbye.

Shop just called and I should have it back this afternoon, that darn GM strike put me behind because they werent shipping parts... Sometimes you cant win for trying.
