OK so I have an 03 ECSB with a 5.3 that I am modding, but a friend of mine tells me (you know who you are ZOMBIE1), that I need to start out by replacing my peg-leg So I went to moser and eaton, but could not make heads or tails of the sh*t so.....Tell me what do I need to buy, just the posi diff ( I know that it is 10 bolt 8.5" and 30 spline), but do I have to replace anything else?? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Go with a Eaton posi or a Auburn pro differential.What gears are you running?It's cost effective to make that change when you do the differential.

I want to run 3.73's

 

I would stick with GM performance gears they are a lot quieter and you'll need a installation kit.You will see a big increase in traction with the posi,you might consider going with 4.10s,they pull a lot harder in 3rd gear and help with throttle response around town.

 

what are the part numbers for the performance gears??? mainly the 3.73
