Stupid Exhaust Question

I only swapped the muffler out on mine. I put in a 3" dual-in 3" single-out FloPro HD. My muffler guy did an excellent job of welding the
2.75" (or so) stock inlet and 3" exit pipe onto the new muffler. Total cost was less than $150.
Dyno gains were 8rwhp and 28rwtq with this muffler. I am quite happy with this muffler.
