STS Turbo & TSP Tuning Take Stock 5.3l Past 500rwhp!!

They've done trons of testing driving through huge puddles through serious rain and not had one issue with it. Now on a lowered truck you might be careful driving through standing water. But it is easily remidied by relocating the filter if needed.

All the guys with a Radix SS are fine with high and mid 13's for more money. I'd say low 13's would be very acceptable!
A stock SS will run about a low 15 on a good day and every once in a while you see a stock high 14sec SS Truck. Maintaining drivability and gaining almost 2 secs is more than worth doing!!! It's easy to drop that first second, it's twice as much and hard to get the other two secs.
Don't get me wrong 12's would be nice, and I'm sure it will be there with more boost, but why? Low 13's and a comfortable boost, sounds good to me.
If it were a race truck, fine let's throw 15lbs of boost at it, but why fill the alky jug everyweek and why risk breaking a perfectly good daily driver?
Are you in the 12's! You shouldn't of put that cam in if you couldn't hit 12's with it

Most likely a totally different setup and would require bellhousing mods, input shafts etc etc.
The 4L80E will be fine. It is basically the equivelent of the Turbo400 but electronically controlled.

Allen, my point was that with the right mods you can have a mid/low 13 second SS without a power adder and still retain the daily driver aspects. I wasn't saying this turbo isn't a worthwhile mod, just that your sights are too low.
There is a big price difference in a cam and a turbo / supercharger kit. Didn't you install a radix on an SS with some custom tuning and smaller pulley that can't get out of the 14s?
