Will a motor live with that kind of boost with stock internals??? I wonder if that thing sounds like Parish's, Im assuming it would. That alone would be worth the price of admission.... if I hadnt already gone with the old school setup

6 months ago EVERYBODY here was calling on the STS turbo and the clamied output......I was like the only one on here that said I believed that it could make the power that Squires claimed it could, and YOU GUYS flamed me for it !!!!!

Now that the STS system been proven to build the power claimed is everyone gonna start flaming the CM setup because it's more expensive and harder to install ???

You guys REALLY need to make up your minds on these things

WOOT!!!!

This is what I wanted to hear.. I drop off my truck this thursday to start my STS install, new cam, Meth, injectors, fuel pump etc.

I figure if I am already in the 330rwhp range then adding 12psi or more will be pretty damned nice

Till I break something

lets see how long it lasts before we all go crazy. Lets not forget CM can prob run more boost with less detonation so pumping 15psi into a motor is nothing that shocked anyone, everyone knew it could be done.

I could bolt a blower onto my truck and put a pulley the size of a dime on there. doesn't mean it will last.

I'm still against the idea of running a lot of boost from way back there. Its great for a few pounds though

thats phenomenal. BUT, becareful with stock internal parts, at 500rwhp your at about 600-625 fwhp. dont know about that, kiss your tranny good bye.

the sts kit is a great idea, will 10000000% work but needs alot more work.

the kit I designed has the idea similarity but very different in design.

bottom line, its a bullet proof setup.

running 15PSI with just methanol, personally is a big NO NO.

it may work for the time being, but your looking for trouble with stock internals.

get some forged parts and you shouldnt have a problem, especially gaskets.

the tranny must be beefed up. as you build boost you will break tires loose, your tuning is important for shifts and overall ease of tranny adaptation of power. the long run it will not last....beef it up or put a 4l80.

either way congrats, its definetly a plus...post the grafts.
