Default STS rear mounted turbo for the 8.1 coming soon!

We will soon be taking orders for the STS 8.1 turbo. Just received this info from STS - The 8.1 Liter is working great, We will be able to start shipping 8.1 kits this week. We have kits for the Avalanche/Suburban and Pickup. The power increase at 5 PSI is an additional 120 horsepower, and 150 pounds of torque. It comes standard with the GT67 Turbo.

TBYRNE Motorsports will have an introductory price of $4175. though the end of April. This includes shipping in the 48 states. This system should be listed on our website in the next few days.

Cool beans!!! I think I'll lay off of doing a fogger system and do a STS instead. When I get ready I'll get a hold of you.

if i remember correctly, the 8.1 dynos at 340 lbs rwtq ( for get the hp, but i remember it was nothing great ) that would put it a about 500lbs plus id imagin it will help make up for that tiny cam and extend that power band. not to shabby. wonder what a Dmax intercooler ( since were most likely talking an HD ) an couple more psi would make.

Whos gonna let me live life vacariously ( sp? ) through them????

Mileage might actually increase with this. That is something that the 8.1 needs

So far nothing on either website.
Is there anyplace I can shop for more 8.1/85E stuff for my '01 Yukon XL? I want to install a remote oil filter & maybe a cooler. I'm thinking about doing e-fans. And I'm wondering if there's any fix for the PCV system sucking the oil out of the system...
Sorry for the hijack...
Thanks,
Michael
