Default STS Fuel Injector Size

Alright here's the deal. I got my pcm in friday and went log a few runs. Result at wot i'm running real lean, O2s 850 range and getting 5-6* kr. Needless to say i didn't get to race at Southern Shootout. Allen told me i'm maxing out the injectors. What brand and size injector are you STS guys running? Who's got the best price on them? Allen recomended 36# injectors. I'm not planning on running more than 5lbs. boost. But if i did run more boost it wouldn't be more than 8- 10lbs. Thanks in advance.

Try upping your fuel pressure to about 62psi and do a few more runs. If you are maxing the injectors, with only 5psi your not maxing the fuel pump. By upping the fuel pressure at the regulator the injectors will work less to deliver the same amountof fuel.

It free to try, and should give you some leway to keep running 5psi safely.

If you're gonna run 8-10psi, grab a set of 43lb marines. They are about $400. ASM has 'em.

I installed the 43lb marines from Arizona Speed and Marine. They are a direct fit and real easy to install. They flow 43 lb/hr @ 58psi. I had the same problem you did. Now Im trying to lean it out!!!! I paid around $400 to my door, cant find the invoice.

If its not one thing its another.

I'm going with 43 pounders... going to run anywhere from 8-10 pounds for high boost, but with that, you'll probably want a fuel pump also... o yeah and a way to cool down the iat's

OK I found some Delphi 42#. part # 01D030B injectors same as Racetronix #621031. Will this be a direct fitment on my truck or will i have to splice wires and shim injectors?
