Default StockFuel Pump

Is any one with a supercharger just using the stock fuel pump? Mine came with an fmu and I have read some posts saying that will give problems when trying to tune in bigger injectors. So far we're getting 451 rwhp and trying to lean it up and add timming but not having much luck. Thanks for any input.

Throw the FMU in the trash and tune it with just the injectors. I can't believe the stock fuel pump can handle that power.
I am having problems with adding timing. It does not want to go over 20 degrees.
What size motor? How much boost? Great numbers, I am going to have to add the N20 sooner than I thought.

seems like i have heard ~450rwhp for a stock pump. with your set up i would have a fuel presure gauge, you dont want to run out of fuel.

JIM, i have been thinking of something. what if i got a fuel cell with it's own pump and filter etc. how would i feed it into the stock fuel system to only come on with a switch for racing? would this even be possible or work at all? just a thought....it's what i've been thinking i would do but not sure if it'll work.

I've been running a MSD Boost-a-pump with no problems but I have a inline pump that I'm getting ready to install because I'm not sure how long the stock pump will last boosted to 18 volts.

I ran a Kenne Bell boost a pump on my Stang for 4 years with no fuel pump failure problems. When I traded that car in on this truck I removed all my goodies including the BAP. Recently I began having fuel pressure probs on the truck so I pulled the 'ol trusty Kenne Bell unit out of the closet and put it on the truck. So far so good-the pressure doesn't drop under load like it was doing. IMO the boost a pump is an easy way to fix minor fuel issues but it won't compensate for a bad pump, etc.
