My 6.0 runs about 40 at idle hot and 50-60 at WOT.

My brother's 6.0 has the same pressure as yours. First time I drove it, I was like WTF?!?! He said it had been like that from the get-go and he has over 70K miles on a 2yo truck.

Here are my mods going in: Cam: 220/570/570/117lsa, Radix (3.0" pulley), Meth, & Dynatech Lt's.
So do you recommend using the same pump, new o.e. pump, or a different pump?

Jim
There seems to be alot of debate about this...I re-used my oil pump when I swapped cams at 37K...didn't see any reason to replace it. It was and is operating fine, oil pressure is good, and I haven't heard of any oil pump failures on our trucks (I did read of some problems on the early GENIII F-bodies on tech, and some o-ring issues, but that's it). When I build my 6.0 I'm gonna go with a new Lingenfelter pump just because...I figure since I'm gonna have the whole engine apart on the stand it couldn't hurt, plus I trust the Lingenfelter name, and the price is right compared to what alot of the ported and "blueprinted" pumps are going for.

I believe you are correct sir, the 4.8-6.0's all use the same pump...I believe the part number is actually the same for the LS1 and LS6's also.

If you think so, then get ya litred-truck ova to my house and change mine out! JFWY

Mine dips to 25 @ idle, and 50 @ WOT. Doesn't go past that.
