i did some datalogging on my truck the other night when i was playing with it on the dyno. my injector duty cylce was running anywhere from 80%-85%. i was just seeing what they were rated to and to see if yall think i should get some bigger injectors. they're stock now which i think they are 24# injectors, correct me if im wrong, its a 2000 ecsb 5.3

Yeah, 00+ have 24.7lb/hr injectors. 99 4.8 and 5.3 have 19.1lb/hr injectors.
Don't know if you need a change of injectors, but the 8.1 injectors are 31lb/hr which is a nice upgrade from the stock ones.
There is also the marine 8.1 injectors which are 42lb/hr.
(some say 43lb/hr

you dont' need to change them, yet. i think when you start seeing 95 percent duty cycle and up then you need to change'em. i have yet to check mine but when hpt comes in i'll know whats going on.

Some are getting 330 rwhp from the 19 lb/hr Gen 1E Vortec 350 injectors. That is just under 400 hp at the crank.
I have 24 lb injectors which are flowing 29.4 lb/hr at 60 psi.
Does anyone know the max for 24 lb injectors that my engine and the newer 5.3's have?
