Default Stock Injector performance limit?

Hey Guys,

I have a cam swap I am planning soon and I would like to know if my stock injectors can hack it. I went with the Vinci Trucker and quick lift 1.8 rockers to keep things pretty mild in my LQ9. Can my stock injectors handle this, or will they limit me? As of right now I still have the stock manifolds, but LT's are in the works for this summer.

If the stockers won't be able to handle the additional HP what size should I try to get? Also, what can I expect to pay for a used set from the classifieds?

Thanks,
Rob

Pretty sure that your stockers will be maxed out, I'd bet that you'd be OK with the 29.9# 8.1 gas injectors...or the 8.1 marines which are 42# and will be nice if you plan future mods such as headwork and such

so if i had shaved 243 heads on a lq9 with a vrx4 cam you think i would max out the 8.1? not the marines. reason i ask im fixing to order the 8.1 gassers and dont wanna worry about it, but i can get them half the price of the marines new for new

The 8.1 truck injectors are 30 lbs/hr. Which is over 30% more then the 19 lbs/hr ones that came in 99-2000 trucks.

Good question...

I'm running the VRX3 and my duty cycle is almost tapped out. I'm at a wall and can't mod anymore until fueling is addressed.
