Default STOCK DYNO #'s

03' Z71 ECSB 5.3 W/3.73 *BONE STOCK* 780 MILES
I installed the Predator to up the speed limiter and shift points and redynoed today. The limiter is at 120mph and still is not enough. I know i can unhook the vss but i don't want to mess with that,i'll get the program raised.

236.2rwhp @ 5150ish
274.9rwtq @ 4150ish

The HP/TQ do not even cross due to the limiter

runs were done from 3000rpm in drive. The temp is around 85 degress and a bit muggy.

ARE THESE GOOD #'S ?

I am pretty happy so far

Larry

*I hope to do the 1.85 rockers/LS6 springs this week, and maybe the catback, air induction & port TB. I want to have enough time to dyno each mod,so only time will tell.

Those numbers sound good for a Mustang dyno and a little low on a Dynojet.I'm running SLP rockers and LS6 springs on my Tahoe they feel like they made a 10-15hp difference.I'd really like to see how much difference they make on your dyno.

Sounds about right. Our 03 5.3 truck made 244rwhp/270ish rwtq stock.

whitt1...it is a dyno jet,but as said above the truck did not even run past 5100rpm,so it should see a bit more

smoke ur 50..thanks for the info ,with the low mileage and the speed limiter i would say it would be right with your truck numbers take away those few things

thanks again for the info

Larry

Actually we had 80 miles on the truck. Funny thing was we dynoed it on the test drive before we bought it...didn't want a dud ya know.

Our peak hp was at 5200 I believe..so few few more rpms might have got you there. YOu are dynoing in 2nd right?

Those numbers are just about right. My 03 made 268hp and 296tq to the wheels with ASM headers, Corsa exh., UPD intake and the predator. Never dynoed it stock though. That would work to about a 30hp to the wheel gain from my mods, something Im pretty pleased with too
