It doesn't sound bad in person! Not trying to ***** this thread up but the guy wants to know how this and how that will sound so I have him example of what straight pipes w/cats will sound like. Heck if you want you can delete it off the thread tbh!

I went ahead and deleted it!

Don't pay no mind to TIM. Like I said idle will sound nice, but part throttle and up has a horrendous crack to it. Been there and done that about 15 years ago, hahaha

I believe ya man , just bustin ***** , usually not like me haha. Heck no , no delete needed . I like the lope, just not the rasp in the vid , but it's not my choice ! Exhaust is a hard goal to achieve, everyone has a sound they are going for , and usually we change it up half a dozen times till we are happy .

I m going to run a cutout for when I want loud, and my magnaflow handles cruising to my liking.

I know this is nowhere near the norm. I paid $75 for 3" true duals on my Camaro and it was a trick setup without mufflers.

It's raspy like that when I rev it but not to loud while cruising. I cut my flowmaster super 40's off and didn't know what to put on and my exhaust was stolen out of my truck bed before I could decide what I wanted to do. Ok,done with thread jacking.

Well it has begun.
Sorry the welds are absolutly perfect because I havn't welded in a good wile. I am content with them and they don't have any leaks.

I am waiting on my J-U bend to make the Y. I think I am going to ditch the tips and come out of the roll pan. A friend was using my plasma cutter at his house or I would have ran the pipe out of the passanger side. Apparently the stock pipe is is 2 7/8 OD because it tightly fit into the 3" ID so I didn't have to make but welds with the pipes.

It isn't very loud at all. If you rev up to 3500+ sitting there it gets a bit raspy but I have no reason to rev that high ever. Hard throttle doesn't get very loud and isn't raspy either. Cruisin on the highway seems very quiet too. Only spend abotu 2 min on the highway.
