My bro and I have had boat fever for a while and we picked up a cherry 20 ft ski boat with a popped 350. I have a spare 6.0 and got to kicking around dropping it in with a mild cam and a set of 243 heads.
Or maybe 243's and LS6 cam to save some cash have both already laying around.
It will be run in fresh water only anyone care to guess on estimated life of aluminum heads used in this manner? Used often and drain the block during winter storage is my plan.
For exhaust I'm thinking a set of LT's off my old 6.0 sierra should do the trick
I can modify a pcm harness myself to do what I'm needing.
Pretty sure a 4l80e crank spacer can be used with whatever SBC flywheel assembly is in the boat currently.
Use truck intake and front accessory drive setup.
It's in the planning stages now we just got home with it after a 4 hour road trip trying to figure out how to shove LS power into the beast.
Ideas or thoughts

You are going to want to use water jacketed manifolds unless your engine compartment is completely open. I know some have used old sbf exhaust manis and stretched the bolt holes out. You are also going to need a way to distribute the water from the raw water pump... Staying efi or going carb?
