TheLadiesMan... how much you plan to tow?

Like F8L said... input torque is the big factor of stall, then comes vehicle weight, compression of the motor, etc.

Yanks and PI both make great converters. Both will hold up to the power easily.
My old PI converter felt alot looser on the street, it builds alot of fluid heat, and is great as far as performance.
My Yank has a tighter feel, stays around 20 degrees cooler (but still builds alittle heat), and I think the does not have the performance of the PI.
I want a converter that has the throttle response and performance of the Vig but, with the streetability of the Yank.
That is my 2 cents. I have had both converters, at around the same stall.

PI Vig's are typically going to be looser feeling as there is less rotating mass due to being a small diameter unit.

Install will be $250-400 I'd say.

The biggest turn off for me to Yank was them never getting back to me. Maybe it was due to the fact they were moving at the time. Nevertheless I'd have expected some correspondence back considering I was interested in purchasing their product new last year. They only reason I plan to run a TT3K is due to the fact it's used and about 2 hrs from me...

FWIW...

I love my Yank. Let's face it, usually, you get what you pay for.

Its going to depend on what you believe to be the better unit. The PI Vig's give you one free re-stall. I dont know if Yank does or even can re-stall. I love mine. I dont know if it is tight or loose since I dont recall driving anything else with a stall.
