maybe a pacesetter or LPP ORY would fit them

the LPP would be stainless also[if they are still around]

Surprised that OBX doesn't offer an ORY, or one of their y-pipes with the resonators...or do they?

Never seen one anywhere either, but like sharpshooter said, they sure look like a Pacesetter or LPP would slip right on.

Don't think so. The obx headers do not seem to sweep as hard as the LPP or PS'rs.. I am sure it would have to be fabbed up.. But when I did mine, I must say that the LPP Y pipe is a nice pipe... Then I cut it all to ****.

Tomorrow, will be exactly one year since I installed my $300 Ebay stainless longtubes and it's included Y pipe on my 2002 Z71 ECSB and I have yet to experience a problem with spark plug wires due to the dreaded "hump". All I did was "wrap" the two plug wires that are closest to the pipes with insulating wrap (like used on a turbo) and that's it. The one at the hump actually lays right on the pipe. No issues, ever.
These little "socks" would be the "workaround" for the hump right?

I'd use something a little thicker, unless you plan to secure it to the cylinder head with a small clamp of some sort.

Here's what I did. Originally done as a temporary "fix", but a year later it is still fine.

I've seen pics years ago where one member made little brackets secured to the head, looked pretty cool

I used DEI 3/4 inch plug boots to protect my wires from the hump. It took a little effort to slide them over the end of the plug wire, but they've worked for 4 weeks now. Google part #DEI- 010409. They were under $15 shipped.
