If it were em I would be looking at the 87mm 07+ intake along with a decent set of headers and a 3200 converter.

Dont bother swapping heads to L92 or LS3's. Hell dont even pull the heads off yet. Find a cam that fits your needs and wants as far as idle quality, target shift points, stall speed, etc and move on it. I can help you with the cam.
