Default SS intake

I have an 02 truck intake, its 75mm, I found a guy with a SS intake and he says its 85mm, a little over 3 1/4" measured....doing a search on here all I found was the 75 stock and the TBlazer/ssr 90mm...so was there a 85?

I would probably hand it to inaccurately reading a tape measure.

and 3 1/4 inches is 82.55mm, and everything on GM stuff is metric, and that just doesn't sound right.

that sounds right, he said its 3.25, so that would be a like you said, a 82.5mm opening, so the throttle blade would be 80mm, not 85.....???? I asked 4 times and he said its over 3". This is the number he sent me just now 25321788

My SS intake is exactly the same truck intake and throttle body that all 4.8/5.3/6.0 came with for 03-07 classic Silverados. Many 8.1's even carry the same tb.
