I am just wondering if they make an "SS" hood for the new silverado's. I have seen them for the Dodges but not for the silverado's. Thanks

 

I have not seen any retail yet but I did see one on a truck at this years SEMA show. It had the center SS scoop and some luvers/vents on each side closer to the cab. Pretty sweet looking.

 

I found out that Keystone makes that hood and it is now available. Runs between $595-649.

 

do you know if the hood is fiberglass or metal, and if they make one for a GMC?

 

About 2 years ago, I saw a very nice hood on a Arizona Speed and Marine Silverado they had at a car show in Phoenix. I am not sure if they sell it currently, but they did back then and I almost got it for our 99. Decided to relocate instead......mistake....The picture is right on there home page. Not an SS style hood, but it has twin "nostrils" on it. I like it!
