Default squeekie sound at top rpm when tranny shift.

hey guys.

when i push my truck to hard for quick accelaration on the road, as gear shift i hear squeekie noise from engine bay area. which makes me think it could be tensioner problem or something becase when i start to move i feel little jerk beginning of move from dead stop i mean when i push gas it take split sec jerk and revs up fine. what can be cause of that??? and squeekie sound???? when shifts from engine bay???????

thank you for ur inputs guys

The squeek at the shift is from the belt slipping and a lot of us have had this issue. Mine did it consistantly until I upgraded the tensioner (to the new Magnuson).

check the fan clutch. mine did the same thing when my fan clutch went out(on all the time) fan is moving so much air at high rpm that the belt slips.

Talk to Joe https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...p?userid=44662 for a tensioner, I haven't seen the engine bay of a stock truck in so long I don't know, lol.
