Default splug wires, need to change

I have just over 46K on my truck, would it be a good idea to change my spark plug wires now? How long are they good for? I have headers, the extra heat that they give off, is it hurting my wires? The headers have been on for about 3-4K miles. Would it be worth it to get better wires like MSD or Magnacore?

If your wires aren't burnt they're probably fine.

Check out this thread for plug wire choices.
