when you pop the hood. the big plastic piece that lays over the front. where it gives you instructions on the belt pattern and such. it should tell you what to gap your plugs at. when i swapped mine it red .60 so thats where i set them.

take them back

I believe that the TR 5 is going to be a little hotter of a plug. I run the TR55ix, left them gapped what they came at and I have had no problems.

It pays to do your homework! You don't want the TR5's, you want the TR55's, they are gapped where they should be for our cars.

Here's what happened today, and it's probably what would have happened to you. I found that our sponors have the plugs available to order online, but I didn't want to wait AND pay shipping. So I called around to see if I could find them locally - Orlando, FL. Nobody said that they stocked them, though Advanced Discount Auto parts said they could order them from the "Warehouse", which is about 90 miles away. I went in to order them, and we (I) discovered that they were actually on the shelf:

The computer listed their own part number 2283 as the TR55, but when we got them from the local wharehouse they turned out to be TR5s. So we pulled the 3951's from the shelf, which were listed as TR5's - but stamped on the side of the box was TR55! Go figure. At $1.68 for the v-power plug, it was just not worth ordering them online and paying shipping. My apologies to are sponsers. Also, ADAP listed the TR55IX - Iridium - for $7.00 each, in the main warehouse, available the next day! So if I really wanted to **** away $50 more, I would have jumped on those. But I have better things to spend the EXTRA $50 on, like other mods.

What is it about the TR55 that's so good? Is it better than any of the others?
