Default Sorry, but another NNBS intake question

Can get a complete NNBS Flex Fuel intake complete for the cheap, and wanting to put it on my 05 5.3. I know I need a Xlink, but will I run into any other problems with it being a flex fuel intake/injectors?

I've seen complete intakes for around 250-350 depending how new , what injectors and what it comes with . A option is use the lInk I posted about a brand we TBSS intake bare for 95$ and piece the rest together . There's a good chance u will come under the 300 mark and at least the intake itself will be brand new just a thought

Yeah the intake I found is 100% complete, just wanting to know what's the typical problems to look out for.

Just so I understand the question, you currently have a non-Flex Fuel vehicle and you're trying to convert it to use Flex Fuel?

I think the injectors are the 32-34 lbs flex fuel type so they should be good for a little while but if you start playing with the fuel trims or get another cam that drinks more fuel then maybe bigger injectors. I went with the marine 8.1 44 lbs injectors to give me a little room to grow but I'm going with 243 heads and a cam with more lift.

My engine is not flex fuel, but the intake is. Would that be a problem?

You will need to deal with the EVAP and retuning for the bigger injectors... thats pretty much it.

Soon as my LS1 is assembled and installed I'm going to start a thread for 04-07 Classic since there is a million ideas and not really any definitive instructions. So far I know that the evap connector does plug into the NNBS evap, and the correct evap lines for the NNBS do fit on the 04-07 classic and are pretty cheap. You need to change the injector connectors or buy adapters for the EV6 injectors, I plan on chaging my connectors for a cleaner look.
