about a month ago I did the bb mod on my thermostat and I was disappointed cause it did not work???
today I drove my truck and I noticed that it finally worked???? needle was right at 185degrees and it stayed there the whole time??? did I do something wrong when I first installed it?? maybe the spring wasnt on right or something??? who knows but its working now!!!

Are you going by the factory guage? It isn't totally accurate...I think that it actually rises in steps (I've watched mine and that's what seems to happen) If it's a little cooler out, your truck might be running just a few degrees cooler allowing the guage to read one step down. Best bet would be to check the temp with a scanner or some other form of logging software.

I think this mod does not let the thermostat close all the way???
