Some Questions for you guys...
#1
Fairly new to the boards and I wanted to get some opinions....
I recently put 22's on the truck and saw the mpg go from 16mpg to 13.5. Kinda sucks, but when I look at the truck it's soo worth it. I'm about to sell some toys and will have some cash to possibly use on the truck...if I decide to spend the money here
STS turbo or a Radix?
For each how much will I look at spending? And will teh tranny need to be replaced? or can I save it b/4 I do add some power to these wheels? What problems have each experienced? Anyone have their turbo seize? Oil pressure problems?
What mpg's can I expect to go to w/ each?
Any other pro/cons?
also...
I have tried a search but what the hell dose a stall do?? The higher teh rating what will this mean/do?
Thx

Both the STS and the Radix are awesome. So its really up to you which one to run. Never really heard any PROBLEMS with either.
A stall will let you bring your RPM's up higher allowing you to be more in your power band from a launch.

it depends on which way you want to go. a radix is a very complete kit without having to go to the exhaust shop. but. it has its limitations which are just a little below the sts kit. the sts kit has no limitations in upgrades to the turbo.
