I would get another vehicle to DD, I know mine was a PITA to drive with a 3900 stall and a 237/242 112 evryday in traffic but I get annoyed easily so...

An SSS would be a hell of DD

When I was building the Hauler's 408, you told me that a 233/239 was way to small for a 408 but a 237/242 was too big for your 418? He wasn't asking for our opinons on picking parts for him, he was just posting up his parts he chose for his combo.

For an rcsb I would have gone bigger. Driveability withthe bigger cam was fine just didnt like after a long day at work and already pissed off sitting there having my *** vibrating. As it was put to me the wood haulers truck isnt a DD. Chill out dude, he has posted before how he didnt liek DD'ing his current combo so I was letting him know he is getting into more of the same thing thing. Dont be so jumpy, chill.

You will find that 408 with a cam 10*s or large in duration wont lose hardly any tq and gain qutie a bit of hp

How's more HP gonna help when a 233/239 is already sucking all the breathe out of the truck intake and the power hits a wall at 6300? It takes TQ to get even a RCSB truck moving....no sense in using a cam that's gonna put the power band so high you can't use it. Now when the Victor and the 4bbl goes on that'll be a different story, but his setup was built around the truck intake.

Why buy parts twice? Why not buy the cam you need then upgrade around it to make the best use of it, instead of buying two cams.

You know you were going to buy the different intake and heads why not buy the cam to go with it? Any decent cam you put in there is going to hit a brick wall anyway.

Got a question for you. How does the truck hook on the street? even with e/t streets? Bet it does a nice smokey burnout no matter what. So you need alot of TQ huh?
