If youre gonna spin it to 6600, Id definatly get some ARP rod bolts too. After I snapped a few in my 5.3, I put them in my 6l and even with my 223/226, Im nervous spinning it to 6600 rpm. I know its safe for me now, Im just nervous.

And I would be able to just drop the oil pan in order to swap out all the rod bolts right? Just change one at a time??? I had heard a while back that there was some kind of problem with the ARP rod bolts but I thought there was another company.

Ive heard of problems with the ARPs and regular SB chevy rods. I think people were getting them confused. The SB used pressed in bolts, so when you swap them you are suposed to have the journals re sized. Yea you just drop the pan, or in my case I blew the motor, then swapped them on th enew motor while it was on the stand.

I might eventually, I'm planning for the future.....
Im beefing up the valvetrain to take it though no matter what. I don't have plans for a stall at the moment, but might go TB or fuddle 2800-3000 in the future.
