Thumbs up So my LPP Y-pipe showed up today, WOW (pics)

For $100 this thing is incredible.. Welds look very nice, as does the finish..I was very surprised at the quality on this thing.. I now have to start the fabbing process, to make them work on my truck, matted to my stainless works headers that showed up yesterday.. Shouldn't be all that bad.. Just have to shorten the Y pipe across the center, cut the 3 inch back section off the merger to allow a 4 inch pipe to be used.. But more will tell once its on the truck, I start cutting. I am sure it isn't going to be a cake walk, but it isn't looking to tuff..

oh wow thats a nice piece. So was your deciding factor on single 4" vs dual 3" simply less pipes or money, sound?

I am doing single 4. Less pipe and less money, should do just about the same.. Like I said if I had access to a mandrel bender, I might do dual 3 inch, but since I don't the single 4 will do just fine..

I'd highly recommend the torctite stepped band clamps and line them with some aluminum foil. There's not a better clamp you can buy than that

If the pipes fit very well together, it shouldn't take much to seal it off good at all. The aluminum foil acts like a good gasket.
