Default so confused

well ive been so confused here lately with my truck, i have no clue what i want to do and i need some opinions, i have a 01 silverado 5.3, should i keep adding to it, like headers and true duals cam, etc., or swap it for a LS1, or keep it as is and get a 1987 chevy and fix that one up? i want to do all 3 so much but i can only choose one, i have no clue what to do, what would yall do?

Well its your call...if it was me, I was modify the your current truck for a little long with some headers, exhaust, etc and then drop the 6.0 or something like that in it. What kind of truck is the '87?

It all depends on money. If you are limited then mod the one you have. If you can afford the LS1 or 6.0 then do that. You could do headers & dual exhaust now, they could be used when you do the engine upgrade. I personally like to have lots of power on my everyday driver so that would rule out the '87 for me. Unless the 87 was going to be your everyday driver of course.

if money is an issue, definitely not the 87...just do cam+stall

if money is no problem, do whatever the hell makes you happy, i would do a 402 into the current truck

572 ram jet Money is your deciding factor, little$$= keeping your truck more mods etc, followed by a 6.0. Alot of $$$$$$= drop in a 6.0, then buy the 87 and build a street/strip.
