well thats good info to keep in mind. I got a quick question, does anybody got a good link that would show what is involved with a 4l80e swap into an 03 1500 4wd? If so I would appreciate the link.

I am NOT going through this crap again, have already spent more on 60e parts that I could have had a 80e a long time ago. At least I am already familar with what is involved with the conversion. 4l60's suck !!! Sorry, just venting.....
What's your parts list on it? Was wondering if you did everything that I did to mine?

I got the following items in mine:

Full transgo shift kit
30% and 50% bigger billet servos
Double cage 29 element Borg Warner forward input sprag
High energy stock band
Reybestos blue plate special, extra plates
Extreme Duty "The Beast" reaction shell
Extreme Duty front and rear planet with 5 pinion gears
Extreme Duty Torque Drive Package
Extreme Duty Hardened Input Shaft and Drum
Art Carr HD torque converter, 2900 stall with 2.15 str (setup for no PWM)
PWM override.
4 quart alum sump pan with factory towing cooler and add on remote cooler with fan.

Trans was built by my tranny man almost three years ago but truck has been down for two years for new engine buildup...If this tranny goes I would opt for the 4L80E upgrade as well.
