Default slight idle problem when cold

when ever the motor is completly cold right after i start it up my rpms drop down to about 100-150 rpms then up to 600 then back to like 250 and then it idles normal. what could be the cause of this? is it the MAF?

i think it sounds kinda cool at start up, and it goes away after like 3 secs. just wondering why it does it.

Have you replaced your spark plugs recently??? Cause after i replaced mine with bosch +4's mine would idle really low when cold and it has shut off twice becuase of it, I am soon going to go back to either NGK's or denso's.

bosch +4 suck, even the guys i emailed at bosch said they weren't the best for a PERFORMANCE application. i had them in mine for like 2 months and that was the worst 2 months of performance my truck has ever experienced.

Get the NGK Iridium, a couple of bucks cheaper than Denso.
