are you going to get it dyno tuned in the near future? If some serious tuning is possible, you might want to go with duals. The greater power on the low end with a single 3" and more high end power with a dual 2.5" is to blame on the tune of the engine, and how the velocity affects your A/F ratio.
If you don't think you'll be tuning it however, i'd go with a 3" single setup or a Y pipe to a single in dual out if you want it to look all spiffy.

Well hey, ill be tuning mine after the pacesetter LT's install. If i go duals, i figured id buy the pacesetter Y-pipe and have the Y cut and dualed so the connection between the Y and the headers is clean and proper but i can still run the duals after that.
Would the duals be better for me if i am going to get a performance tune?
Anyone know how bassani mufflers sound? I have a guy thats selling some brand new for cheap and they are both 2.5" center center so they will work with the turn downs on my truck. Think it would be worth it to try them?
