The VSC with either flexalite 282's or 295's is the closet you'll come to plug and play with A/C control, manual control, and thermostatic control all in one package.

Well there are power sources all over the truck with connectors, and the ECM reads engine temp so there should be a way to make it work. I'm just in lazy mode right now, thats why I want a setup like this, also, it'd be cleaner than the wires strung all over the place and miswired relays or fans that dont shut off that are always posted about.

Thx for the help though guys.

Wasn't Parish8 working on getting his PCM to control the fans? You would still have to run power to it.

BenKey... All you gotta do is set the truck PCM to turn on the fans at your desired temp and add a pin to the harness. www.ls1truck.com has more info on it...

That is true. If you want all the other features of the VSC you still have to wire up relays and stuff though. The VSC has all that in one little compact package.

Yep, what BenKey said. The 282's are for the 34" wide radiator core in the 6.0L trucks and some SUV's. The 295's are for the 28" wide radiator cores in everything else.

sounds like to much of a headache for the electronically impaired, such as myself...

thing is... its hot as hell in the summer in Tucson, so its best for me to have a clutch fan and have it running all the time..
