Silverado SS exhaust question
#12
Had the OBX on my last truck, Yes they bolt right up to a 6.0 exhaust and the fit and finish was great. Just my experience. The LPPs on this truck fit just as well, just are not a direct bolt on for a 6.0 truck. They only make a small v8 Y

Great catch...I was hoping that wouldn't fall on deaf ears (eyes?)
Update---
I am sticking with the Pacesetters, never had a problem with the coated versions and for the price, you can't beat them. I did some measuring, and the pipe size going into the stock muffler is 2.75". So, I bought 16' of 3" aluminzed piping, which I am going to scuff and coat with some high temp primer and paint. I also picked up some flanges to weld onto the collectors, the pipes ends that will be left on the factory muffler and the pipes coming off the collectors. Finally, I picked up some 3" to 2.75" reducers and a few sets of Percy's aluminum gaskets (said to seal very well and be re-usable). Hopefully the end result will be an exhaust system that has no leaks and can be taken apart fairly easily, should the need arise. All told, including the LTs, I spent $525, and I am figuring $150 to $200 for the bending and welding. The exhaust will be getting done at the same time the heads and cam go in, so I will be sure to post up some pics and sound clips of the LTs, no cats and a stock catback (I am hoping its reasonably quiet).
