All in all, the SS is a nice machine. Its not going to rape a lightning, or anything like that stock, but w/ a few mods, i think its possible it could take one, esp w/ the right driver. But, if it shaved some weight off of her, or was @ least a reg cab, she'd be able to pull right along w/ those Blue Oval boys. Its a nice truck...altho the times are a bit sluggish, just gotta remember, this aint a Heisman running back here, this is more like a tight end <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

I saw a red ss on Preston rd this morning and I was not impressed. It had a chrome tip on the single ex pipe and an ss sticker on the back, other than that it looked stock. The guy snuck up beside me and kicked it around 45. Didn't hear much and didn't see much and I was hoping to show him something but the morning traffic didn't allow it. I'm a Chevy man all the way but what the hell is up with them? Friggin ford has a truck that looks and runs like a factory street rod. Will GM ever wake up?
