so i've had a dynomax ultra flo on for 3 days now, and HOLY QUIET, Batman!
i've got dual 2.5 side exit (waiting on some 4x18 tips to get here), and it's drastically different, as expected. the straight-through is clearly a smoother rumble than the growl of a chambered muffler. and it can get loud when i'm on it while actually killing most of the drone at maintenance throttle when cruising... and that's with the case being further under the cab than the previous muffler & having side exits.
low RPM grunt has a deep rumble that'll surely get more pronounced when i get my tips welded on, so i'm looking forward to it.
this is all without the bullet (which there wouldn't be room for anyway with the bends required)
overall, i'm pleased with the sound. it's taking some getting used to from the last 10yrs of chambered growl (not raspy by any means), but it definitely meets the intent of quiet cruising, loud playing, not choking myself out when hooking up a trailer, and not melting shock boots with a load on the back.

6 month update:
as expected, it mellowed out a little after it broke in, and overall, i really like it. the difference the tips made was huge after i got those on - kinda like ***** dropping as a teenager.
it's still quiet enough to talk or listen to the radio while just cruising around but can turn heads with a quick punch of the loud pedal. good job Dynomax.
