Nice. Now you just need to order up a custom flange. If you can't order one than I'm sure a machine shop could cut one down. Might need to make some tappered washers also so the bolt sit flat on the flange.

Planning to just order a set of flanges from arh and have a local machine shop mill the flanges and countersink the headers at the right angle.

That's a good idea. Should make things simple and solve the problem.

I guess this is not as easy as I originally thought. Talked to 2 machine shops about angle decking the header flanges down and they aren't interested. ARH hasn't replied to my last e-mail in 3 days. finally called my local head porter and he is wanting to call me back later today. fingers crossed that I can make this happen without breaking the bank.

Got any buddy's with a Bridgeport mill? I would just tack weld it onto another block so it was flat, setup the block offset on the table and mill it down. Prob take 1/2 hour. Then I would weld the flanges together, clamp the header to the table, and use an end mill to recess the holes flat.

You could do it with a belt sander and a steady hand if you really had to

Ya you could use a belt sander, just build a jig on either side of the flange as a guid.

Wont that also lift the collector? I would be nervous about it sitting too high and hitting the body then.
